In coordination with the Maguire Company, ESI conducted a comprehensive analysis to ascertain the economic and fiscal effects of the continued presence of five major military installations and four other selected military activities on the counties where they are located and the state of Arizona as a whole. This analysis identified the indirect and induced economic impacts using the IMPLAN modeling system, and the direct and indirect fiscal impacts generated for the state and local taxing jurisdictions. An update to the original study was conducted and released in 2008.
